Dahab is one of the most beautiful places in the world, a traveller's paradise situated 81 kilometers North of Sharm El Sheikh. If you are looking for some adventure in your life then Dahab is the place to holiday.

The Gulf of Aqaba offers great water sport opportunities with amazing scuba diving and snorkelling from the shore, windsurfing and kitesurfing for beginners and experts. Other activities include horse riding, quad bike trips, riding up in the desert where you can take  amazing pictures with your camera overlooking Dahab, as Dahab proves to provide excellent conditions for both of them, snorkelling, and of course scuba diving.

If you want just a relaxing holiday, Dahab offers some amazing restaurants overlooking the beautiful blue gulf of Aqaba and is a perfect place to lay on the beach, soak up the sunrays, and have a couple of refreshing drinks.

Dahab is the Arabic word for gold, and it is almost certain that this locale in eastern Sinai derived its name from the fine yellow sand that colors its beaches.
This pearl of the gulf actually consists of two villages, the Bedouin village of Assalah is the southern half, with the business and administrative center of Dahab to the north.

Dahab has excellent hotel accommodations, but also affords less expensive housing in the village, or camping. About 5 miles from town is the famous Blue Hole, for diving. Towards the Israeli border is the Island of Coral, where the Crusaders built a fort. The remains can still be seen.
Originally a Bedouin fishing village, Dahab is one of the Sinai’s most treasured diving destinations.
With more than 15 dive sites , all accessed from shore .
Dahab reefs are oases under the sea – 20% of fauna, and 50% of Butterflyfish, are found nowhere else in the world.

DahabThe sites combine coral garden, arches, canyons and caves, with a huge diversity of reef fish and invertebrates, as well as turtles, rays, moray eels, octopus, and larger fish including Napoleonfish, Barracuda, small sharks and dolphins....
More and more in the watery kaleidoscopic underworld of Dahab...
